Specially for the lovely 5N2-On your Graduation, in 2008 : )
My lovley 5N2,
On the 3rd October 2008, marked your official graduation.
That day, I presented you with some little gifts, prepared from my heart. That day, was the first time, the class called "Ms Ong" so loudly and clearly, and with much emotions. That day, was the first time, most of you, if not all, just followed me down the stairs to the hall, without ms ong reminding. It was a sweet feeling......
The Gifts......
The idea of a mini poster with all your beautiful pictures came about from the inspiration of your maths teacher. I thought the idea sounds good, especially, when I was still wondering on the "meaningful parting gifts" :) So, I embark on my journey to puzzle up the little memories and blessings... It was then, that I really realised, you guys have really innocent smiles. I remembered one afternoon, when I was diligently cropping and selecting your pictures, I can't helped it but keep telling your SS teacher (who was seated in front of me), how cute 5n2 is, when they smile so innocently. Laoshi hopes, you guys continue to smile this way......
With this poster, finally, we see the birth of our first full class photo:)
Sometimes, we just need a little effort, a little heart, to make things happen........
The little postcard, was meant to be a personalised gift, for each and everyone of you. My initial idea was to capture the feel of a "strong" hand, but I can't find a suitable model. So I had to change it to a 'soft' approach.
"Find that Missing piece, and Reach for your Dream"-That's my wish for you and the wish for myself. Live with a Dream, and complete it with all your heart....
As I wrote each individual postcards, memories of the special moments and connections with each of you came alive. Just like our fingers, some are longer, some are shorter.. but they are all unique..
Take care of the little gifts, as they symbolise ms ong's heart and blessing to all of you.. That day, I felt your apprecitaion and emotions clearly. It was an emotional moment for me too, as I suddenly felt the subtle attachement with the class. But, isn't that life? We move on.. You are moving on, so am I :) Its not easy to keep in touch (as mentioned in my earlier entry), but its possible to leave a corner for one another, in our heart..Its a beautiful feeling.....
Lastly, remember the three hearts that I gave you before? Its simple but precious..
Yong4 Xin1: Whatever we do, do it with your heart..
Xin4 Xin1: Whatever we do, believe we can... even though, it may seems impossible initially..
Hen2 Xin1: Whatever we do, just continue... even though, results may takes longer than expected...
Whatever that I need to say, I guessed I had said it out over the months..Those unsaid, perhaps its for us to feel it with our hearts...
Lastly, I had added in messages from your lovely subjects teachers below.. Some are inspiring, some are humorous, some are touching, some are creative... whatever it is, just know, you guys are loved and treasured.....
Enjoy:)
Ms Ong (Laoshi)
2008 holds sweet memories of you guys.

Dear lovely 5N2,
Though its only been a very short 9 months I taught you, I really enjoy teaching your class. You have been a lovely bunch to teach. Thanks for all the jokes and fun moments we had in the class. This is the last lap to your 'O' Levels. I urge you to put in your very best effort and make this last year counts - one that is without regret. I believe you will do very well if you put in your heart and mind into preparing for the 'O' Levels. I look forward to witness and share with you in all your satisfied and bright smiles as you receive the 'O' Levels results that will reflect your best effort. May the blessings of God be upon you abundantly as you move on and embark on your next phase of life after graduating from Serangoon Secondary School. I pray that you will find your calling and live a life that is meaningful, purposeful and worthy. Have a great life ahead!
Best Regards
